Is Vaults Live Suitable For Families?
Vaults Live isn’t a museum or a history lesson, it’s a new, fun, interactive and entertaining way to learn about Irish history and myths. During the hour long experience you will come across 6 infamous characters from Irish history who will tell you different tales of our country’s past.
One of the questions we get asked the most at Vaults Live is are we a family friendly venue and the answer is yes. All you have to do is pop over to our TripAdvisor and see the amount of reviews we have received from families. We have even hosted our fair share of birthday parties, the youngest of which was actually a girls 8th birthday party.
Are there any age restrictions at Vaults Live?
No. We do not have any age restrictions here at Vaults Live. We have a recommended age of 8 and above but we leave it down to the parent to decide. Each child is different. We have had 6 year olds who have said the experience is not scary enough.
We have systems in place so if you or anyone you are with is finding it a bit scary all you have to do is put your hand up and you will be taken out of the experience. This doesn’t happen often but the option is there to make everyone feel more at ease.
Will the kids not get bored/distracted during the experience?
Our experience is split into 6 different scenes, each lasting about 10 minutes. Each scene is lead by an actor depicting a different character from Irish history. There is a lot of interaction with the audience and what people don’t realise is that the experience is a very upbeat, funny and entertaining. It would be very hard for even the most distracted child not to pay attention when IKEA our resident Viking is looking for someone to battle. Or when Molly Malone is getting everyone to sing-a-long to her world famous song.
Do you have any offers or tickets for families?
We only opened our doors in October and so far families seem to be our most popular customer. As a result we have a family ticket which is for 2 Adults and 2 Children(Under 16) which comes out cheaper than buying all the tickets separately. If there is only one adult and 3 Children you can also take advantage of the family pass too. Prices start from €55 for the family pass.
